Agrale 4100 Manual Choke
The Autolite 2100 two-barrel carburetor is nothing more than a 2V version of the 4100 with primary bores only. The 2100 is equipped with the same automatic choke assembly as the 4100 and can also.
I have an Autolite 4100 1.12 with manual choke ready to fit to the car, but I can't make out how to adjust the spring-loaded pull down rod for the choke. The only manual I can find tells me use a 1/16' drill bit to hold the choke valve open against the air horn, and adjust as necessary. I'm guessing this means to adjust the plastic nut at the end of the rod, but does anyone know how? I've tried adjusting so the choke valve stays open, but there isn't enough thread on the rod and the nut comes off. Probably not correct. Any ideas? Thanks
Roger
